A 3-days multi-activity adventure in the less advertised part of western Mainland Greece, about 3 hours away from Athens. Discover the unspoiled nature of Etoloakarnania, with the unique diversity of its ecosystems; rough mountains with dense forests, lakes, rivers and lagoons, sandy coasts and blue sea, picturesque towns and remote villages. Perfect destination for sightseeing and adventure tours!
ITINERARY
Day 1: Travel to the west. Nafpaktos. Rafting day
In the morning you travel towards Nafpaktos; located on the north coast of the Corinthian Gulf with its imposing medieval fortress overlooking the town and its fortified old port. After check-in to your hotel, it’s rafting time! Transfer (about 20 min) to the start point of a beautiful adventure in Evinos River.Day 2: Further to the west. Cycling and kayak. Ecotour in Mesolonghi
After breakfast we travel to the historical town of Mesolonghi; built on the homonymous lagoon (about 40 min). After a guided city tour, you go cycling around the lagoon where you will have the opportunity to explore this unique place. If you want more, you can go for kayaking in the peaceful waters of Messolonghi lagoon.Day 3: Mountainous Nafpaktia walking tour
In the morning you travel to the mountainous inland of Nafpaktia (about 1h30min) towards the picturesque village of Ano Chora. You go hiking onto shadowed paths through the dense fur and chestnut mixed forest. Late in the afternoon we leave this magnificent place and we eventually return in Athens.ACTIVITIES
