The old captains’ houses witness the flowering past due to the maritime trade of the 18th and 19th centuries, though the modern luxurious villas show today the preference of noble people for the beauty of this island. Just 15 min from the Peloponnese and only 1h30min from the port of Piraeus. Day excursions possible and recommended to the beautiful island of Hydra, Nafplio, Mycenae and Epidaurus. ITINERARY

5 days / 4 nights in typical hotel or guesthous, in quiet spot, in the immediate vicinity of the port, the town center and the beach. All rooms/studios have air conditioning, TV, shower / WC, a well equipped kitchen or kitchenette and a balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast.
We organize your self-catering stay (in few minutes walking time is a supermarket, bakery and several taverns), ticket Piraeus-Spetses-Piraeus by hydrofoil (1h30min), maps, a good mountain bike, suggestions for cycling tours with route description and a contact person.

In day excursions you can reach the neighbour island of Hydra with its particularly beautiful traditional settlement, Nafplio; the former capital with its Venetian Old Town, Mycenae with the Atrides citadel and Epidaurus with its world famous theater.
