A unique guided bike or e-bike and wine tour through the vineyard of Nemea; one of the most important viticultural regions of Greece since antiquity and one of the oldest known wine growing regions of the world. This is also the region where, according Greek mythology, Hercules had vanquished the monstruous lion and then, the Nemean Games; an event little inferior to the Olympic Games, took place to honor Zeus. You will visit the archaeological site and taste the wine of the local grape variety of Agiorgitiko.

ITINERARY

In the morning you travel to the Peloponnese, through the Isthmus of Corinth and reach the area of Corinth. You go cycling through the picturesque rural area of Corint, towards Ancient Nemea, where you can visit (if you wish) the sanctuary of Zeus, the ancient stadium and the museum. In this very important viticultural area, you will visit a local winery, where you will taste 5 local wines, accompanied with a cold platter of various cheeses, cured meats, dried fruits and breadsticks. You continue your ride further and you eventually reach the extended beach on the south shore of the Corinthian Gulf. Possibility for coffee break, relax by the beach and swimming. Transfer back to Athens.
